About the Event

Silvia Angel, from Silvia Angel Education will lead this seminar for parents/teachers of children with Down syndrome from 2 to 6-7 years of age.

This seminar will focus on getting children ready to learn reading with traditional methods in primary school (such as Jolly Phonics) and will cover: - Understanding how children with Down syndrome learn best - Preparing your child to become a reader - How to know if your child is ready to start reading - Teaching sight words - Teaching the alphabet

Limited number of places and priority given to DSCNE service users.
