Visual guide to Hub 21 (autism friendly)

We’re delighted to introduce our autism-friendly visual guide, created to help make your visit to Hub 21 as comfortable, clear, and welcoming as possible.

We understand that new environments can sometimes feel overwhelming, which is why this guide has been thoughtfully designed as a visual and practical support. It provides step-by-step guidance on how to enter the building and find your way to Hub 21, helping to reduce uncertainty before you arrive.

Inside the handout, you’ll also find an overview of our spaces. From our welcoming family room to our calming sensory room, as well as our three classrooms, we aim to give you a clear picture of what to expect during your visit.

Getting to know new people can be just as important as becoming familiar with a new place. That’s why the handout also introduces you to our team—our management, reception staff, therapists, and facilitators. By putting faces to names ahead of time, we hope to make those first interactions feel more relaxed and reassuring.

Our goal is simple: to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable, supported, and included from the very beginning.

We hope you find this handout helpful and that it makes your experience with us a positive one.
