2023 - A year in review

The mission of The Down Syndrome Centre North East is to support and empower individuals with Down syndrome to reach their full potential by providing therapeutic services, training, information and social events for children and young people with Down Syndrome, their families and the professional community in the North East of Ireland.

2023 was the year we officially reached our 100th family and here is a review of the regular free and/or heavily subsidised dedicated therapeutic therapies we offered. In addition to these we also offer various activities, events and supports for the whole family.

As a local charity, we rely on donations and fundraising. It is YOU who help fund this wide range of services and supports. Thank you for helping us to help make a difference to the children and their families, across the North East region.
