2025 was a year of growth, change and opportunity for our organisation.
While our name changed from The Down Syndrome Centre North East to Hub 21, our mission remained exactly the same: to provide high-quality supports, therapies and opportunities that help children and young people with Down syndrome and their families thrive.
This year we expanded our facilities, welcomed new families, delivered camps, classes and therapies, celebrated important milestones and strengthened connections within our community. We also launched our new identity as Hub 21, reflecting our vision of being a welcoming hub of support, connection and opportunity for families across the region.
None of this would have been possible without the support of our families, volunteers, staff, therapists, donors, funders and community partners. Together, you helped us continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.
We are delighted to share our 2025 Annual Report, which highlights the achievements, challenges and impact of the past year, while looking ahead to the opportunities that lie ahead.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
