Lots of Socks 2022

What a busy month March was!

Lots of Socks 2022 took place on Monday 21st of March, World Down Syndrome Day 2022!

Thank you to everyone who took part in this event, and those who showed off their funky and colourful socks to help raise awareness for this international celebration, as well as fundraising for the Down Syndrome Centre North East. A total of 83 preschools, schools and businesses signed up this year, making a new record for DSCNE! And together, €13,447.95 was fundraised for our local, non-profit charity.

Supporting events such as Lots of Socks helps us to support families in the North East region as well as spread awareness and promoting inclusion. We hope you had lots of fun as well as learning something new.
